Outreach Ministries

Global Outreach Ministries

Numerous Kern Road attenders and members connect the congregation to the global community. As immigrants born in or as mission workers serving in Africa, Europe, South and Central America and the Middle East, the congregation has deep familial and established relationships to people in other parts of God's world. Kern Road Mennonite Church has a long history of individual and congregational financial support and encouragement to the international work of Mennonite Central Committee, Eastern Mennonite Missions, Mennonite World Conference, and Mennonite Mission Network. KRMC has a special relationship to the churches of the Democratic Republic of Congo, most specifically to the Bondeko Mennonite Church of Kinshasa and to a countrywide women's literacy program that has been successful at assisting women through DRC to read and learn. Currently the congregation also supports the Tim and Julie Groff family in their church development work in Dangriga, Belize.
