The congregation is in the early stages of formulating and implementing a clearer vision for regional growth that include faith and life formation of children and youth for service and leadership in the church and community. Partnering with the other pastors and a strong team of congregational leaders to work with youth and other ages, this pastor will be invited to share his or her gifts in varied areas of church life, some of which may shift over time as the team assesses gifts and strengths. There will be opportunities in worship, outreach and formation and for personal and professional leadership development. This person will seek to model a healthy personal and spiritual life, be able to make connections with people and encourage them in their spiritual lives, and demonstrate Christ-like leadership characteristics. Salary and benefits will be consistent with MC USA guidelines. .50 FTE and anticipated start time is late summer/fall 2017.
