Global Partnership Forum

God’s family spans the globe. Kern Roaders have many connections around the world. Some of us grew up and have family members in other countries. Some of us have been involved in church ministry around the globe. The Global Partnership Forum seeks to help KRMC develop relationships and partnerships with the world-wide Anabaptist family. At this time we are particularly developing relationships with Mennonites working in medical ministries in the Democratic Republic of Congo and connections with the church in Kenya. Our congregation actively supports the work of Mennonite World Conference, the global community of churches that trace their roots to the 16th century Anabaptist renewal movement.

Kenya:  Through a friendship with Rebecca Osiro, a Kenyan Mennonite pastor and church leader, KRMC has helped support several women’s projects in Kisumu, Kenya. Presently we are blessed through several Kenyan households who are attending Kern Road and we are learning about the significant Kenyan community in northern Indiana.
