As Pastor of Missions, André provides leadership and support for the congregation as we seek to live out our faith in the world. The mission of the church involves service, peace witness, sharing our faith and living as an alternative community. André also works two days a week with Mennonite Church USA as Director of Interchurch Relations and serves on the Advisory Council of the Indiana-Michigan Mennonite Conference. He is a graduate of Associated Mennonite Biblical Seminary and previously worked with the Mennonite Central Committee for seven years in several peacemaking assignments in Germany. André and his wife Cathy have four children ranging from elementary to high school and live in South Bend's near northwest neighborhood. He enjoys cross-country skiing, biking and picking raspberries in his garden.
Rev. David L. Sutter, Lead Pastor and Pastor of Congregational Life and Vision

As Pastor of Congregational Life and Vision, Dave supports the overall work of the congregation’s leadership groups as well as a number of program areas of the church: Congregational Life (new attender hospitality and assimilation, retreats, groups, and fellowship), Gift Discernment and Stewardship. Dave provides leadership coordination and supervision for the Pastoral Team as it seeks to keep up with and equip the gifts and vision of a very committed and talented congregation. Dave is spouse to Janice, KRMC’s Pastor of Worship and Preaching. They have two teenage boys. Dave’s hobbies include home repair, the Chicago Cubs, travel, and conversations about leadership and leadership development. Beyond his Kern Road role, Dave also currently serves on the Executive Board of Mennonite Church USA and is Vice President of the Southfield Village Continuing Care Retirement Community.
Rev. Janice Y. Sutter, Pastor of Worship and Preaching

As Pastor of Worship and Preaching, Janice coordinates most regular and special worship services, utilizing the varied gifts of persons to plan and lead times of celebration and teaching for the congregation. She is also the primary preacher of the team, preaching on approximately half of the Sundays in a given year. The other Sundays are divided among the other pastors and other members of the congregation with preaching gifts. Janice also coordinates Pastoral Care for the congregation. Janice is spouse to Dave, KRMC’s Pastor of Congregational Life and Vision. They have two teenage sons. Her hobbies are hospitality, elementary flower gardening, walking, travel, and a family beagle named Pawz. Janice currently serves on the Church Life Commission of Indiana-Michigan Mennonite Conference.
